Job Description: We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Traffic Officer to join our team. The Traffic Officer will play a critical role in coordinating and managing air traffic flow to ensure the safe and efficient movement of aircraft within designated airspace. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Aircraft Guidance and Control: Direct aircraft movement on the ground and in the air, including taxiing, takeoff, and landing, while maintaining safe distances between aircraft.

2. Communication and Coordination: Communicate with pilots via radio to relay instructions, flight information, and weather updates. Coordinate with other air traffic controllers, airport personnel, and relevant agencies to facilitate seamless operations.

3. Surveillance and Monitoring: Monitor radar and surveillance systems to track aircraft movement within designated airspace. Identify potential conflicts or hazards and take proactive measures to mitigate risks.

4. Flight Data Management: Update and maintain flight data records, including departure and arrival times, flight routes, and altitudes. Input and retrieve flight plans from the air traffic control system.

5. Emergency Response and Crisis Management: Coordinate emergency response procedures in the event of aircraft emergencies. Provide guidance to pilots during emergency situations and collaborate with emergency services to facilitate rapid response and assistance.

6. Compliance and Regulations: Enforce airspace regulations, air traffic control procedures, and safety protocols prescribed by aviation authorities. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with operational standards and guidelines.

7. Decision Making and Problem-Solving: Make timely decisions to manage air traffic flow and resolve operational challenges. Analyze complex situations and adapt strategies to maintain safe and efficient operations.

8. Stress Management and Workload Balancing: Manage high-pressure situations and maintain focus during periods of heavy air traffic or emergencies. Prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively to optimize workload distribution.

 Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in aviation management, air traffic control, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in air traffic control or aviation operations.
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal, is essential.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to make quick and accurate decisions under pressure.
